Liberia’s leading comedian, Wedigar admitted into Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN)

Bahn Geezay, alias Wedigar The Comedian has been admitted into the prestigious Actor Guild of Nigeria as a full-fledged member, giving him an opportunity to share the platform with Nollywood’s biggest faces.

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) is an umbrella union that regulates and represents the affairs of film actors in Nigeria and abroad.

The prestigious group has made some of the World’s biggest celebrities and with Liberia own Wedigar getting into it, all the country can hope for is a star coming to rise from next door. Liberians can be more proud as a people.

He expressed his joy on his official facebook page  as well as his instagram handle, celebrating God and thanking all Liberians and Nigerians for making the dream realized.

The actor was also awarded an official certificate that carried the union’s endorsement of his membership and willingness to work with him.

Bahn Geezay has been exploring opportunities in Nigeria for a month now, with big expectations from his fans and team in Liberia and the news came as an excitement and reliever.

Manage by Alexander Bealded, one of Liberia’s foremost media celebrities, Wedigar has since starred alongside big names like Regina Daniels, Mr. Ibu, John Dumelo among many others.

His latest movie with Mr. Ibu ‘Black Kettle’ reportedly sold one hundred thousand copies in two weeks, WatchDog online international reported.

‘Today, we hit a milestone of the career of this Liberian talent, we are grateful that we have been behind the scenes making this efforts realized, we look forward to Liberians support as always,’ his manager Alexander Bealded told the media.

Bahn Geezay started his career far back and through comedy in church he has risen through the ranks of his career to where he is.

Last time a Liberian made headway in Nollywood was Frank Artus but yet to be established if he was officially admitted into the Actors Guild but Wedigar is gradually penetrating a market many dare make the strides.

Liberians expressed enthusiasm about his joy and has since flooded his page with congratulations.
