Just a Girl Initiatives, a l local non for profit organization says it will on Tuesday begin the distribution of 435 locally made facemask and disinfectants.
According to the organization’s founder, Madam Evelyn Kpadeh Seagbeh, the distribution will be done in two phases and it will target at least 400 girls and women along the Duazon, Roberts Field Highway.
This comes at the time country continues to recall increase in the number of COVID cases now over 288 case and 27 deaths.
Facemask to be distributed
The intervention is the organization way of encouraging the girls and women to continue adhering to the preventive heaths measures.
Madam Seagbeh disclosed that 5 of the girls and women, who have been benefiting from the organization tailoring program, produced 310 of the mask while Alfalit Liberia donated 125 pieces totaling 435.
Meanwhile Just a Girl Founder further disclosed that the phase 2 of the distribution will target 150 school going girl and will benefit 150 face mask and menstrual pads when the government shall have announced the reopening of schools.
The last phase of the distribution madam Seagbeh added would be just a Girl way of preparing girls hygienically to return to the classrooms.
