The Fen-River Districts Commissioner said young people of his district have no respect for local government officials and elderly people of their respective communities in which they live across the entire district.

Commissioner Edward Murphy Bloh said beating on another man wife, insulting older people taking knives against each other are common in his district by young people.

He said thefts of property, simply assault, disorderly conduct, criminal facilitation among others are daily issue in the district these days.

When quizzed about community response to these reported violent acts by young people in his district, he said “people are afraid of these boy because they have no fear or respect for even the parents before other people in the community.”

On the issue of the presence of Police officers, Members of the Community Watch Forum or Boys Scout in the district, Commissioner Bloh said not one member of the security apparatus is present in his district.

He called on the County Chairman of the Community Watch Forum, the County Commissioner of the Boys Scout and the Rivercess Police detachment to organize training for those with “clean characters” in his district to provide security for the citizens in the absence of the state security.

At the same time, the Fen-River District Commissioner has reported rising number of rape cases across the district.

Commissioner Bloh said the rape cases across his district cannot be reported as parents compromised these rape cases in the name of early married by their children and not rape.

“When you see 15 years old girl in an affair with a 22 years old man and say it a rape and the police should be inform, they will tell you that you are the obstacle and wanting their children not to get marry,” Commissioner Bloh said.
