PHOTO: The human parts put on display, As Police Investigate suspect
It is not a normal thing for people to travel with human skull and bones, but this has been the case with the commercial motorbike traffic in the southeastern River Gee County.
Police in this Gee County have arrested a commercial motorbike rider identified as Stanford Karpeh with what is believed to be a human skull and thigh bones.
The incident reportedly occurred on May 6, 2022.
During police investigation, suspect Karpeh alleged that the human parts belong to a passenger who was riding with him.
He explained that while en route to River Gee, from Dwehken in Grand Kru County, he picked up a passenger upon their arrival in Gbeapo Joequiken. He said they were involved in an accident while escaping a little child on the main road of Joequiken.
Mr. Karpeh maintained that while in the process of dodging the little child, the passenger’s bag opened forcibly with the skull and the two thigh bones rolled out from the bag.
That sparked tension amongst the people of Joequiken, as to where the skull and the bones came from.
Eyewitnesses alleged that as the tension grew, the passenger who was allegedly carrying the human parts, narrowly escaped the scene, leaving the motorbike rider with the angry Crowd.
Meanwhile, suspect Karpeh, is currently into the police custody undergoing police preliminary investigation in River Gee County’s capital, Fish Town.
