Nat Patray, an old hand at CBL named Executive Governor

Less than 24 hours after the head of the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) Milton Weeks resigned, President George Manneh Weah has named Nathaniel Patray as Executive Governor.

Mr. Patray, a former CBL executive and a long-time financial expert, was among latest appointments/nominations in Government announced by the Executive Mansion on Wednesday.

The incoming CBL Governor is also a stalwart of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC).

Both Patray and the former CBL Governor Weeks have been meeting at the CBL headquarters in Monrovia.

Others appointments/nominations made on Wednesday affect the National Security Agency.

Those appointed include:

Central Bank of Liberia

Nathaniel R. Patray-Executive Governor

National Security Agency

Edward Sharpe – Deputy Director/Planning Research & Analysis

Emmanuel Jackson – Assistant Director/Planning Research & Analysis

Todd Garlo – Assistant Director/Administration

According to the Executive Mansion statement, these appointments/nominations are subject to confirmation by the Honorable Liberian Senate where applicable.
