Monrovia, Liberia- The Director General of the Center for National Documents and Records Agency (CNDRA), Nelson Bearngar has called on government officials to lead with integrity, so as to advance national development under the leadership of President Joseph Boakai and Vice President Jeremiah Koung.

He was speaking on Thursday during an honoring ceremony organized by Citizens United for a Better Liberia in collaboration with the Liberia Media Network.

CNDRA boss, Bearngar emphasized the need for public servants to put Liberia first, act as nationalists, and eliminate partiality in public service.

“If Liberia is to move forward and the lives of its people improved, then officials must lead with integrity and prioritize the nation’s interest above all,” Mr. Bearngar asserted.

During the event, the CNDRA Director General vowed to invest in human capital development at the National Archives, including sponsoring advanced studies for staff members to enhance their contributions to national growth.

He expressed gratitude for the recognition and thanked President Boakai for entrusting him with the leadership of the CNDRA.

Mr. Bearngar also pledged to transform the National Archives into one of the most effective government institutions, stressing his commitment to action over words.

“I believe in deeds, not just promises,” he stated, adding that his leadership would focus on making tangible improvements to the agency.

The CNDRA boss dedicated the honor to his staff, commending them for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving the Liberian people.
