Archbishop Dr. Benny T. Danson on Ghana, His Royal Eminences, has challenged the newly appointed Peace Ambassador George K. Kaydor to be a shining example to the youths of Liberia and the world.
Dr. Danson is the president of the International Council of Archbishops and Bishop for Charismatic and Pentecostal Churches based in London, the United Kingdom.
George K. Kaydor, commonly known as K- Praise, was recently appointed by the International Association of World Peace Advocates as the Eminent Peace Ambassador of the United Nations.
Scores of dignitaries, government officials, and foreign guests attended the decoration souvenir program including the proxy of former Liberian President George Weah, presidential candidate Cllr. Tiawan Saye Gongloe, Coordinators of the K – Praise Peace Foundation Africa, Pastors, gospel Musicians , family members and well-wishers.
The International Association of World Peace Advocates is a global non-governmental group and a participant in the United Nations Global Compact.
World Peace Advocates’ objective is to promote peace and harmony in various local communities across the globe and to ensure that the aims and objectives of the United Nations in the maintenance of global peace are being achieved.
The association is a body of concerned global citizens whose interest is to promote universal peace, and a just and inclusive society within the United Nations to ensure that all classes of people in our society are carried along on the schemes, programs, and policies of the United Nations.
Its networks international and regional organizations and recruit people of decent ethical manner as Eminent Peace Ambassadors through effective screening of nominations with special regard granted to personalities whose efforts are evident in making peace and providing benevolence to orphanage children, widows, and the elderly.
Presenting the decorations and souvenirs to Kaydor Saturday May 11, 2024 in Monrovia, Dr. Danson challenged the honoree not to forget the ladder that took him to his place of honor.
“Today, as you have been decorated as Peace Ambassador of the United Nations, I, therefore, urge that your life should be a plus for others to follow and not a minus,” he said.
At the decoration souvenir of the newly appointed peace ambassador held at the Reconciliation Temple International Freedom Cathedral Church in Caldwell over the weekend, Archbishop Danson said many people sometimes forget where they come from.
Mr. Kaydor, also known as “K-Praise,” was among twenty-three recipients of the Eminent Peace Ambassador title across Africa. He was appointed at the just-ended International Women’s Day celebration in Nigeria.
He told the congregation that their lives and the life of the newly appointed ambassador should be a plus to generations and not a minus.
“Honor doesn’t know education and background, when you find favor in the sight of God, it’s a blessing,” said Archbishop Danson.
He noted that the new Peace Ambassador has exhibited good behavior over the years and has found favor in God’s sight.
Dr. Danson continued that true leadership isn’t about pushing people around, instead, a good leader is comfortable with people with whom he doesn’t need to have security.
According to the Ghanaian Archbishop, humanity pays a lot, adding that great wisdom is found within the common man.
“When you live your life well, you receive the honor from God,” said Dr. Danson.
In response to the honore, Ambassador George Kaydor thanked Archbishop Danson and the Association of International Peace Advocate Global for the honor bestowed on him to serve as Ambassador for Peace.
“If you want to go to the next level, associate with the relevant people, don’t limit yourself because of your background,” said Amb. Kaydor.
He suggested that there’s a reason why God keeps people in certain places but promised to advocate and champion the messages of peace across Liberia.
To have a prosperous nation, Ambassador Kaydor said the peace of the nation must be maintained.
“Let’s discourage violence from every spectrum of our country, we will speak out for our people,” he said.
Amb. Kaydor vowed to defend and protect the work of the United Nations by preaching peace messages in Liberia and worldwide.
Kaydor is a Liberian music icon who goes by the stage name K-Praise.
He’s a graduate of the Tenstrings Musical College in Lagos, Nigeria.
He began his musical career here in Liberia in 2006 but was forced into exile due to a lack of financial support.
For his part, the administrator of the K-Praise Foundation, Pastor Wolo Lewis said the International Association of World Peace Advocates of the United Nations is an international body that took the initiative to bring peace to the world and Liberia at large.
