Party Says He’s Irreplaceable, As They Opened Book Of Condolence In Monrovia

The National Chairman of the People’s Liberation Party (PLP) has described the death of the party’s political leader, Dr. Daniel Cassell as an irreparable and irreplaceable not only to the party but the entire country.
Mr. Tapple Doe said Dr. Cassell’s death was unexpected to all of them but all will be done to keep the vision of Dr. Cassell alive because the party is not built around any individual.
Mr. Doe was speaking when the PLP officially opened the book of condolence for its vision bearer, Dr. Daniel Cassell at the party’s headquarters in the Congo Town suburb of Monrovia recently.
According to him, the death of Dr. Cassell will be felt by the thousands of people whose lives that he touched during his sojourn in Liberia and other parts of the world.
“This life is like a journey because once one is born, there will also be death,” he said; adding: “this is one of the ways we all shall depart this world one day.”
He said the PLP has received a visit from Mulbah Morlu, the National Chairman of the Coalition for Democratic Change, on behalf of President George Weah; a call from Ambassador Joseph Boakia, the former Vice President and standard bearer of the Unity Party and text from Alexander Cummings, standard bearer of the Collaborating Political Parties.
The PLP political leader died as a result of heart failure following an exercise at his home in the United States while returning from the basement of his building
Dr. Cassell entered the political arena lately and quickly gained popularity due to humanitarian gesture, construction of projects and introduction of cheap transportation through the importation of fleet of buses for the ordinary people in several parts in Liberia.
Prior to his death, Dr. Cassell through his private business firm, the Kwenyan and Associates Group of Companies has lawfully acquired a helicopter to facilitate smooth and timely travels across Liberia and other parts of the region.
But the government revoked the license issued the firm after the state suspected the helicopter will provide an advantage for Dr. Cassell during the presidential and legislative elections in Liberia later this year
Cassell founded Kwenyan Professional Health Services, a mental health/behavioral and substance abuse agency, where he worked as a Behavioral Specialist Consultant in the Philadelphia and Bucks County areas in the United States. before establishing the PLP Liberia
According to the National Vice Chairman for Media Relations of the PLP, kalifala Kromah, the book of condolence will be opened for three days and he will be buried in the United States in accordance to his widow’s demand.
