Opposition Lawmaker, Yekeh Kolubah has threatened to resign from the Collaborating Political Parties if the internal wrangling among the leaders does not stop and sounded a caveat to former Unity Party leader Joseph Boakai about his close association with vocal talk show host Henry Costa..

Rep. Yekeh Kolubah, who represents District # 10 in Montserrado County, said the CPP leaders said he would not hesitate to pull out of the CPP if the ongoing wrangling continues and become an independent politician.

Addressing a press conference in Monrovia at the weekend after a medical trip abroad, Rep. Kolubah warned some politicians in the CPP against using vocal talk show host and political activist, Henry Costa “to abuse prominent people in the society”.

Costa, who is leader of the Council of Patriots (COP) group and a member of Benoni Urey’s All Liberian Party (ALP), supports former ruling Unity Party Standard Bearer and former Vice President Joseph Boakai’s bid to be the CPP’s candidate in the 2021 presidential election.

According to him, Henry Coast has allegedly been paid by some individuals purposely to cause confusion in the CPP and he will not sit and allow this happen.

Rep. Kolubah, who some time ago pulled out of Costa’s COP, has also threatened to confront the CPP leaders, if they do not stop allegedly using Mr. Costa from causing confusion in the Collaboration and insulting others.

The controversial Montserrado County District #10 lawmaker, however, did not spell out the action(s) he hopes to take against the leaders of the CPP if the internal wrangling does not stop.

Rep. Kolubah also alleged that Henry Costa has been planted in the CPP purposely to create confusion among its leaders, but so far there has been no reaction from the COP leader.

He sent out a caveat about future move he will take and cautioned former Vice President Joseph Boakai against using Henry Costa as his spokesman for his 2023 presidential bid.

According to the Rep. Kolubah, If Henry Costa makes any attempt to contest as senatorial candidate on the ticket on the CPP ticket in Montserrado County , he will also contest but as an independent.

He maintained that the Supreme Court needs to interprets the law to the House of Representatives as it regards my pay.

The Montserrado County lawmaker did not mute his strong criticism of President George Weah.

Rep. Kolubah has vowed to do all he can to ensure that President Weah does not win the 2023 presidential elections in Liberia

This is the first public comment made by Rep. Kolubah since his return from his three-month medical trip in Accra, Ghana few days ago.
