Senator Saa Joseph has made a passionate plea to authorities of the Emmanuel Dahn Foundation to include nursing education in its curriculum.
His appeal is based on the realization that more nurses are needed in in rural Liberia, the senior senator said.
He was delivering the keynote address at the Emmanuel Dahn Foundation, a skills training institution in District # 7.

To further manifest seriousness to his call for more nurses, he assured he will be bringing a container full of equipment for the proposed nursing school tuition. In addition to being responsible for the payment of the salaries of instructors for up to one year. But it falls short of specifying when the payment of instructors takes effect.
The Montserrado County Senator also pledged one hundred thousand Liberian Dollars to each department at the institution for the graduating class to start their own businesses
In remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of the Emmanuel Dahn Foundation thanked Senator Joseph for the pledges and donations, institution, saying he will endeavor to provide training to Liberian youths in order to in order to improve their chances on the job market.
At the end of the program, 585 students were awarded certificates in journalism, pastry, home economy among many others.
Some of the products and handiworks of the students were displayed at the program.
