Topping The League Table, As LKF-Margibi Sub-Association 2024-2025 Season Continues

Bong County -based club Fuamah Girls KC is set to make history as they are one step away from winning the first domestic trophy in kickball activities in Margibi County.

The Kpatawae Girls of Bong County, Fuamah Girls KC collected two straight wins in the ongoing Liberia Kickball Federation- Margibi Sub-Association 2nd Division 2024-2025 League Season, which saw the club moving on top of the league with just one game left to end the league season.

At the Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata on Saturday, 5 July 2025, Fuamah Girls KC secured a narrow 1-0 home win against Surprise KC in the final game of the date mentioned above.

And in other results from Saturday, in game one, Vision Sisters KC sealed the first win of the league season with a 2-1 home win against Dream Girls KC while in game two God’s Favor KC defeated Future Girls KC 1-0 in an away fixture to maintain first place.

At the same venue on Sunday, 6 July Fuamah Girls KC moves on top of the league due to God’s Favor KC playing to a scoreless home run against Vision Sisters KC in an away fixture at full-time in game one, while in game two Fuamah Girls KC sealed a 6-5 home win against Future Girls KC.

And in the day’s final showpiece it saw two nearest rivals and moreover this year’s edition LKF-Margibi Sub-association 2nd Division League 2024-2025 knockout finalist, Dreams Girls KC and Surprise KC playing to a one-all-draw at full-time.

God’s Favor KC draw against Vision Sisters KC on Sunday, 6 July drops the club to second place on the league table while Fuamah Girls KC win against Future Girls KC on the same date moves the club to first place on the league table.

As the league enters its closing stage with just a game left for all participating clubs, Fuamah Girls KC sits first place on the league table with 21pts– just a point ahead of second place, God’s Favor KC which has 20 ponts.

Future Girls KC have played 9 games collecting 7 wins and 2 defeats, while God’s Favor KC collected 6 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat.

The league season is expected to come to an early in July or early August with the 2024-2025 LKF-Margibi Sub-Association Knockout final to be played before the league season ends.

The final day of the league season will see first place, Fuamah Girls KC facing second place, God’s Favor KC, an encounter that will determine the league champions for this year’s edition.

Fuamah Girls KC will just need a draw or a point to be crowned the league champions, while it is a must win for God’s Favor KC if they are to clinch the championship.

Moreover, if things don’t go well for Fuamah Girls KC despite the club been on top where there is a planned protest against the club by Future Girls KC since the win on 6 July with such protest ruling yet to be concluded.

Just in case such ruling doesn’t favor Fuamah Girls KC meaning they need a must win in the final league fixture against God’s Favor KC on the 27 of July to make their dream come to a reality by winning the first ever domestic trophy in such competition.

Both clubs are eyeing the first domestic trophy since competitive kickballing activities in Margibi County.

As for Future Girls KC, it will mark their first trophy, while on the other hand, it will mark God’s Favor KC second trophy. Many are therefore, holding their breadth to see who will carry this year’s pre-season trophy of the 2025 LKF-Margibi Sub-Association 2nd Division League Jamboree.

In addition, Fuamah Girls KC and God’s Favor KC have already booked the ticket to this year’s edition of the LKF- National 2nd Division Playoff, which is scheduled for August in Gbarnga, Bong County. Margibi County has four slots out of the 37 clubs that are expected to participate from over eight 8 counties.
