The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has, with immediate effect, lifted the ban on all footballing activities on the pitch, the FA has published on its Facebook page on Monday.
It followed a sports ministry meeting with associations and federations at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) sports complex in the Paynesville suburb of Monrovia on 14 September.
The LFA was represented by Vice President Wilmot Smith and secretary-general Isaac Montgomery.
All members of the LFA, including clubs, sub-associations and sub-committees, can resume normal activities by adhering to strict Covid-19 protocols in preparations for the 2020/2021 season.
The LFA has emailed its return-to-play protocols and the government’s protocols on the resumption of sports activities to all members to curb the spread of Covid-19 but league venues will be closed to fans.
The executive committee approved the purchase of Covid-19 materials for clubs and league venues on 11 September.
A Covid-19 return-to-play package distribution will shortly commence.
Footballing activities were suspended on 17 March following an emergency executive committee meeting on 16 March.
