A nongovernmental organization known and styled at the Orphanage Ibn Ishaka Charity Foundation has begun the construction of a three-story building value US$320,000.00 to host 200 orphans and provide them education in Brewerville suburb of Monrovia.

The foundation’s manager, Chernor Diallo said that his organization began the construction of this project in the Parker Corner community, due to the increase in the number of orphans in the country in recent years.

Speaking in an interview, Mr. Diallo appealed to the President George Weah, government officials and international humanitarian organizations operating in Liberia to assist the funding, material and logistics.

According to him, the project, which has reached the first floor is expected to be completed in nine months and will be ready for admission of orphans next year.

“Since the construction began a little over three months ago,” he went on, “there has been no contribution to an institution that is geared towards hosting and molding the minds of fatherless and motherless children in Liberia.”

One of the brains behind this project is Sheik Hassan Sow, who described as a state of the art orphanage, because it is a project to help the larger community.

According to him, Almighty Allah encouraged mankind to cater for children in the orphanage and that this project is one of the ways through which he can contribute to the Liberian society.

Mr. Sow appealed to the Liberian people to join and support the this initiative because there are many ways through which you can contribute as it is huge.

He prayed for Almighty Allah’s blessing on people who are investing their monies for the benefit of others and they will reap in multiple ways.
