Liberia’s Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor has underscored the need for unity amongst citizens, despite challenges confronting the nation.

VP Taylor also said it is important that the ties between the government and its people must be maintained by both parties for the forward march of the country.

She made the call on Thursday, November 17, 2022 during the Ministry of Information special press briefing in Monrovia.

According to her, the current challenges should not be used to tear each other apart stating there is a bright future ahead for Liberia.

The Liberia Vice President noted that Liberians must hold together in foreseeing a future that the country wants. Meanwhile Commenting on the conduct of the controversial census, the VP Taylor called on citizens to cooperate with the Enumerators and all LISGIS workers.

She indicated that Liberians must have connivance in the conduct of the controversial census.

Despite the VP Taylor’s call and other calls by citizens to cooperate with the process, it is widely reported that some residents of many counties in Liberia are yet to see LISGIS Enumerators in their area to get enumerated.
