12 Underprivileged Liberian Kids Benefit From Tuition Payment

Aiding Abandoned kids in need of education

A non for profit organization,’ Abandoned Child Foundation Liberia’ has begun the payment of school fees for underprivileged kids in Montserrado and Margibi Counties.

Abandoned Child Foundation Liberia is an organization that is headed by a young Liberian, Darius Dolo with the vision of ensuring that kids who are abandoned go to  school and their fees can be paid and give them a chance to a better futures.

Dolo said,”Our team today January 7, 2021 visited several schools in Margibi and Montserrado counties paying some of the beneficiaries of our program their registration fees and part payment of their tuition first installment”.

According to Mr. Dolo, he and his team have the total number of  23 underprivileged students and they were able to pay the registration fees and part payment of the first installment of 12 students.

Mr. Dolo indicated that after they settled fees of the first 12 students, he and his  appealed to these school’s adminstrators to allow all their benefiting students in school while they seek support.

He intoned that based on their pleads, 17 out of the 23 kids are now in school as they seek funding to settle their obligation to the schools.

“Currently, we are greatly challenged with the rest of the kids whose registrations have not been paid and our team is seeking support or sponsorship from well meaning individuals and organizations to help make our dream come to reality.”

Mr. Dolo said that the remaining six students are still out of school as they are still appealing to their school administration to give them admission while they  looking forward for sponsorship.

He also thanked those who have helped him and his team to achieve the success in a short period of time.

“A big thank to all our supporters in Liberia and abroad as we look forward to others to ensure our kids are in schools,” said Mr. Dolo.
