150 Students Get KERAYA’s Gift Awards Scholarships

A four-man delegation from California, the United States of America has left the country after two weeks visit as guests of the Keyara’s Gift Liberia and awarding scholarships to 150 students at the cost of over 250 United States Dollars

Speaking shortly after the departure of the delegation, the Country Director of Keyara’s Gift Liberia, Reverend Francis Kollie, disclosed that that during the stay of delegation in Liberia, the US Team awarded scholarships value 200,000 United States Dollars to 150 students several counties in Liberia

Addressing a press Reverend Kollie added that also distributed books and book bags, sanitation pads and clothing value over 15,000 United States Dollars to beneficiaries of the scholarships in Liberia

The delegation also organized a party for the students for their successful performances during the last year academic year

During their stay, delegation visited the Ministry of Education where they held discussion with the education authorities and expressed concern about the high cost of tuition in private and faith-owned schools and colleges

The delegation also visited the Monrovia Central Prison and distributed sanitation pads and perfume to female inmates also provided scholarships for children inmates

Females in the delegation also lectured female students about the importance practicing good sanitation hygiene especially in the wake of the outbreak of disease

Some of the students who are in more than seven counties and colleges thanked the US delegation for sponsoring  Keyara’s Gift Liberia and appealed to them continue their support

According to Reverend Kollie, the delegation including Kreg Ecklind, Karen Ecklind, Kayara Enklind and Zack Newspren are the fund raisers for Kayara Gift Liberia.
