GBARNGA, Liberia- Three bodies were over the weekend recovered after a ferry capsized in Barmie Town in Liberia’s central Bong County, nearly 170 kilometers from Monrovia.
The locally made ferry, which capsized few days ago, was carrying ten persons when the accident occurred.
Officials said efforts are underway to recover the remaining bodies.
Bong County’s Superintendent Esther Walker has expressed sadness over the tragedy.
