The General Manager & Chief Executive Officer of the Security Expert Guard Agency of Liberia (SEGAL), Momo Tarnuekollie Cyrus is expected to be inducted into the African Leadership Hall of Fame—Class of 2020 in London by the African Leadership Magazine.

According to SEGAL officials, the African Leadership Magazine is one of the leading UK-based Pan-African publications in the fore-front of showcasing African excellence and achievements, since September 2008.

A communication from the Magazine dated November 5, 2019 said the decision was reached following Cyrus’s previous conferment with the prestigious African Leadership Award as a past honoree, and incumbent on his continue contribution to the growth and development of the African business ecosystem having passed a rigorous screening and vetting process by the group’s editorial board.

“This honor and induction are in recognition of your towering posturing as true African Ambassador in business, and your continued contributions to Africa’s social-economic development. Our award jury, in their approval note, highlighting your exceptional leadership impact on the lives both the internal and external communities, and your continued unalloyed commitment to the excellence as basis for these honors.” The African Leadership Magazine’s communication furthered.

The disclosers were made on November 27, 2019 at SEGAL headquarters in Monrovia when a local CSO, Patriotic Consciousness Association of Liberia (PACAL) presented another award to SEGAL for its “Outstanding Performances & National Contributions to Liberia’s Growth, Economy and Progress.”

The event, which coincided with the program marking official launch of SEGAL’s new uniform, equipment and the rebranding of the company’s trademark, also witnessed a donation of physical cash (graduation fees) to two of the Agency’s guards expected to graduate from the University of Liberia next month.

In remarks, SEGAL’s officials through its administrative manager, Marcus N.D Kumeh; CEO Momo T. Cyrus; Security Manager Dave S. Freeman and others recounted previous honors received by the Company this year noting that all of these recognitions are based on merit and distinction as demonstrated by SEGAL and its general manger over the years.

From undisclosed statistics, they maintained that SEGAL is the second or third biggest employer in the Republic of Liberia.

“Being selected for an honor doesn’t come about by means of an accident. For you to be selected as the best among the many speaks to many things—your passion for what you do, the best way you do it, your commitment to your job, the way you treat your own, i.e. your employees and above all your love for country…”
