President-elect, Boakai has promised to make agriculture number on priority for his administration.

The Green Day event will begin with a parade through the major streets of Monrovia and climaxed at ATS where the showcase is expected to take place.

“We are happy that agriculture still remains a priority for national government. The Green Day event is expected to show the level of progress in the sector and the challenges. It is our hope that by showcasing our products will inspired the President-elect to focused more on agriculture as a way to move the economy forward,” said Joseph Morris, Green Day event, Organizing Committee Chairman.
