As Liberia COVID-19 Death Toll Rises, More Males Dying Than Females

More males are dying from the Coronavirus pandemic in Liberia than females, says the National Public Health Institute (NPHIL) at the weekend, as its latest COVID-19 Update reports two new deaths.

This brings the number of people killed by the virus in Liberia to 18 as of Friday, who include 13 males and just 5 females among the casualties.

Eleven more new confirmed cases have also been reported, with ten of them in Montserrado County, where Monrovia is situated and a lone case in the northeaster Nimba County,.
