Bishop Kortu Brown Now Heads Board Of Youth, Group Dream For Constructive Achievement

Youth Dream for Constructive Achievement (YDCA), a nonprofit organization working in Liberia, has announced the appointment of Bishop Kortu K. Brown as its new Board Chair.

Bishop Brown, former President of the Liberia Council of Churches (LCC), is a respected figure in Liberia, brings with him extensive experience and a proven track record of leadership in various roles.

His appointment comes at a time when YDCA seeks to leverage his expertise and commitment to community development.

Bishop Brown succeeds Mr. Andrew K. Macgona Sr., who dedicatedly served as the organization’s Board Chair for the past five years.

YDCA believes that Bishop Brown’s wealth of experience, leadership acumen, and dedication to community service will play a pivotal role in taking the organization to new heights.

Jeffrey Paye, Executive Director at YDCA, expressed excitement about Bishop Brown’s appointment, stating that his exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to community service make him the ideal choice to lead the organization into a new era of growth and impact.

Mr. Paye believes that under Bishop Brown’s leadership, YDCA will achieve new milestones and make a lasting impact in education, health, youth development, and economic empowerment.

Bishop Brown’s impressive resume includes serving in various major positions, such as Bishop of Apostolic Pentecostal Church (APC) International, Chairman and CEO of the board of Directors of Church Aid Inc (CAI) – Global Church Network, Chairman and CEO of Board of Directors of Concerned Christian Community (CCC), and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mother Tegeste Stewart Apostolic Pentecostal School, among others, YDCA said.

Besides serving as president of the Liberia Council of Churches, president of the Interreligious Council of Liberia (IRCL), he is founding chairperson of the board of trustees of the Apostolic Pentecostal Institute.

Bishop Brown’s affiliation with prestigious organizations such as the World Council of Churches (WCC), Apostolic World Christian Fellowship (AWCF), and All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) further highlights his influence and impact.

According to the youth group, Bishop Kortu K. Brown’s life and work embody compassion, leadership, and service. His dedication to spirituality, education, and humanitarian causes continues to uplift and inspire not only in Liberia but also beyond its borders.

His appointment as YDCA’s Board Chair signals a new chapter for the organization as it aims to create a positive influence in the lives of children, at-risk youth, and marginalized women and girls in Liberia.
