-Says Liberia needs repentance

As Liberia’s 2017 electoral transition process hits a legal snag, a Pentecostal cleric says Liberia needs a national repentance crusade to heal ‘the incurable wounds of the state.’

Bishop Wilmot Bobbroh of the Living Water Pentecostal Church revealed that that the Lord told him three days ago in dream that the national crusade should be announced by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

According to him, fast and pray didn’t stop the Ebola Outbreak problem.

Bishop Bobbroh said people who are in religious power don’t have the spiritual authority to advice the president Sirleaf.

He pointed out that Liberia is facing the consequences of killing Liberians leaders citing the Ebola Outbreak in the country as an example.

He wants Liberians to pray for Liberian presidents to live after leaving power, rather than to die saying God will punish them separately for any ugly acts.

The Pentecostal prelate has at the same time frowned on what he called “Sunday selling.”

‘’Sunday is a special day set aside for Christians around the globe to seek God’s intervention.

‘’In Liberia, Sunday selling has rotated to a normal culture practice for some Liberian marketers across the length and breath of the country.

Other people preferred chasing the money rather than going to church on Sunday’’.

Bishop Bobbroh is asking the President of the Republic of Liberia Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to place a ban on Sunday selling across the country.

He said if such vigorous action is taken by the President, people will certainly understand the power of God.
