After 93.3% “Excellent” Performance Score
Monrovia, Liberia– D. Nelson Bearngar, Director General of the Center for National Documents and Records Agency, says the Liberian National Archives will be one of the top three performing government institutions in 2026.
The commitment follows the agency’s strong showing in the 2025 Performance Management and Compliance System, where it recorded an impressive score of 93.3%, earning an “excellent” rating among thirty-three government institutions.
President Joseph Nyuma Boakai recently recognized and certified the National Archives under the Performance Management System introduced by the Unity Party-led administration.
Speaking during a mass staff meeting on Thursday at the official presentation of the performance certificate, Director General Bearngar challenged employees to increase their efforts and maintain high standards in service delivery.
He further urged staff to remain focused and work collectively toward achieving an even higher score in 2026.
Receiving the certificate on behalf of the general staff, Human Resource Director Sam Fahnbulleh expressed appreciation to the administration for its leadership, which he said contributed significantly to the agency’s performance.
Fahnbulleh also commended employees for their dedication and cooperation in carrying out their regular duties, noting that their commitment played a key role in attaining the high rating.
He later presented the certificate to the CNDRA Workers Association President Jeremiah Zarwie in recognition of their collective efforts.
The National Archives’ performance places it among Liberia’s top-performing public institutions, as it now aims to further improve and secure a spot among the country’s leading agencies in the coming year.
