FLASHBACK: Wounded-Notorious-armed-robber-Kesselley-Mulbah-using-crutches

TEMPLE OF JUSTICE, Monrovia– A notorious suspected armed robber, who is widely believed to be government operative, Kesselee Mulbah alias “Kezo” was on Monday, November 22, 2021 unanimously found guilty of murder by Jurors at Criminal Court ‘A’.
The Jurors were serving as trial of facts at this court presided over by Judge Roosevelt Z. Willie.
The case, which lasted for nearly two weeks after the November A.D. 2021 Term of court’s opening, was finally brought to an end with a unanimous guilty verdict against “Kezo”.
Convict Mulbah, at the call of the case, pleaded not guilty thereby joining issues with the state.
This notorious armed robber has been arrested on numerous occasions and sent to the Monrovia Central prison but he would be released unconditionally without trial.
But as the old adage goes, “ninety-nine days for rouge, one day for master”, he was finally caught in the web.
In October of 2020, convict Mulbah was sent to court on two charges namely armed robbery and murder in which the armed robbery case was speedily tried at the Criminal court “D” and he was guilty again while the murder case was sent to Criminal court A for trial and has again being found guilty unanimously by jurors.
Convict Mulbah killed a member of a local citizens crime watch group, “Kapao-Kapao secure INC,” while carrying out one of his armed robbery expeditions in Monrovia.
After he was found guilty for armed robbery at the Criminal Court “D”, he was sentenced to four years.
The probation office at the Ministry of Justice was instructed to a pre-sentence hearing on his character in order for the court to make an informed decision within five days.
Background
Kesselee Mulbah, who was also widely believed to a bodyguard of Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson Kojee, many months ago allegedly killed a member of the local citizens crimes watch group, “Kapao-Kapao secure Liberia Inc”.
Since his arrest, he has been kept at the Liberian National Police headquarters on Capitol Hill, but after appearing in court he has now been sent to the Monrovia Central Prison, with many wondering for how long since in fact this man is said to be backed by some big hand.
Defendant Mulbah had previously been arrested and sent to court on several occasions but has been released from the Monrovia Central prison on orders of some higher-ups in government.
This alleged notorious armed robber, 36, was acquainted with his constitutional rights, thoroughly investigated and subsequently charged with the Criminal offenses ranging from conspiracy, armed robbery and murder which is in violation of chapter 10,15 and 14, section 10.4 and subchapter C, section 15.32 and section 14.1 of the revised penal code of the Republic of Liberia.
During the commission of the crimes, victim Keith Nah, Oumaru Barry, James Zayzay and others of the Kapao-Kapao group sustained injuries and loss of the properties and cash, while victim Vafoday M. Karvah was kiledl in the process. In his operation, Mulbah sustained injury while exchanging fire with the police.
The incident occurred at separate locations from Baptist Seminary on the Monrovia Robertsfield highway and Dexville market community from March 2-August 14, 2020.
Police Charge Sheet
According to police charge sheet, Victim Facia L. McCauley, a resident of Baptist Seminary community service told the police Crime Service Division Investigation that on Monday March 2,2020 at 11:30pm, her cousin, Keith Nah came from out with his girlfriend in her Gray Rav-4 Jeep and stopped at the gate, as soon as his Nephew in the presence of Alex Flomo Jr. opened the gate, three unknown men armed with single barrel shot guns rushed in the fence, placed Keith Nah, his girlfriend and Alex Flomo Jr. under gun point, pepper sprayed them and made away with some items.
The stolen item included a Gray Rav-4 Jeep value US $9,000, one iPhone valued US$1,600 and Samsung Galaxy Note -8 valued US $400 and one Al-pod valued at US $150 among several others.

The second victim from the armed robbery case is Oumaru Barry and other residents of Dexville market community told the police/CSD Investigation that on August 14, 2020 about 2:30pm while, in their various shops, some unknown men armed with cutlasses, single barrel shot guns and others deadly weapons and forcibly entered their various business places. They were placed under gun point and made several valuable items one park-9 worth US$120 and cash US$ 300 among several other items.
Another victim, James Zayzay several items including phones and victim Mak Z. Dehmie, whose cash were taken away police charge sheet narrated.
During police Investigation of Defendant Kesselle Mulbah, alias “Kezo” he denied his involvement into said crimes armed robbery and murder.
The Investigation established that suspect Kessele Mulbah alias Kezo and others to be identified went in the Baptist Seminary community and placed victims Nah, Flomo and Keith Nah’s girlfriend under gun point, pepper sprayed them before making away with their properties including cash along with the gray Rav-4 Jeep.
The Investigation also established that suspect Kesselle Mulbah and others to be identified we’re armed with cutlasses, single barrel shot guns and other deadly weapons went in the Dexville market community, forcibly entered victim Oumaru Barry’s tea shop. He was placed him under gun point before making away with the herein mentioned properties, including a cash and they also went to victim
Taylor shop placed he and Mark Dehmie under gun point, searched and made away their properties including cash.
Findings from the police investigation showed that during the armed robbery at Dexville market community, the Kapao secure Liberia Inc. team responded on the crime scene and later went in pursuit of one of the perpetrators in person of defendant Mulbah alias Kezo who was in a gray Rav-4 Jeep; while, defendant Mulbah was escaping from the members of the Kapao secure Liberia Inc., the police charge sheet disclosed.
Defendant Mulbah intentionally hit and knock down victim Vafoday M. Karvah of the Kapao secure Liberia inc. who was taking to the JFK medical hospital, where he was pronounced death on arrival by doctor on call, the police charge sheet added.
That while, the Anti robbery unit/CSD bravo was in pursuit of defendant Kessele Mulbah alias Kezo opened fire at the agents of the anti-robbery unit’s bravo team when the agents of the anti-robbery bravo team returned fire, leaving defendant Mulbah to sustained bullet wound on his left k
