TEMPLE OF JUSTICE, Monrovia- A Church Pastor and founder of the Assembly of Believer Chapel located in Monrovia’s Sinkor suburb of Old Road has been entrapped in a persistent non-support filed by his wife, which has landed him in the Monrovia Central Prison.

Pastor Kpanfeng Logan was over the weekend sent to jail for an alleged persistent non-support crime by the Monrovia City Court.

Pastor Logan was first held with contempt of court for failing to appear in court and followed by a writ of arrest.

According to his arrest warrant, the “defendant having made and executed before Court stipulation for the support of his wedded wife and two minor children to include feeling, clothing, medicare, shelter and schooling.”

The court accused Pastor Logan of  “defiance”, failing and refusing to appear in court “to make the amount of US$1,800 being one year rent payment as to the aspect of shelter for his family, subject matter of the below captioned case.”

The defendant was ordered arrested and brought under the jurisdiction of the court to answer or show cause if any why he should not be held in contempt of court for his refusal and failure to make payment on Friday, September 17, 2021.

This is the second time the clergyman has been sent to jail, according to court record.

In an exclusive interview with his wife, Mrs Rose Logan, who is co-founder of the Assembly of Believer Chapel, she said they have been married for fourteen years.

But about four months ago, she explained that she and Pastor Logan went on separation.

Mrs. Logan claimed that he has refused to support her and her children, especially when he recently celebrated his birthday.

She accused her estranged husband of being in another relationship and having another wedding meeting when they have not yet divorced, a claim that the Pastor is yet to respond to.

Mrs. Logan told the court that her estranged husband usually beat on her, even though she had undergone C-section twice with her two children.
