Cllr. Scott and the others, who are facing multiple charges including murder, burst into tears on Monday, October 30, 2022 after the Pathologist Dr. Benedict Kolee displayed the Charloe’s corpse on a projector while testifying on behalf of the state.
Dr. Kolee said he did an investigation a day after the incident occurred in Brewerville and found the room of Charloe Musu was upside down.
According to Dr. Kolee, his investigation led to him to do a DNA test from blood stain collected on the crime scene and from her finger nails, noting that the test proved that it was females that touched the deceased, thereby excluding males even though he didn’t take sample from the defendants to link them to the alleged crime.
The Liberian Pathologist’s testimony was in open court at the Criminal Court “A” presided over by Judge Roosevelt Z. Willie.
“On the crime scene this bra was found and torn and edges of the bra was jiggled and it wasn’t done with razor blade which means it was under tension”, Dr. Kolee testified.
“We did lots of investigation and when we got on the investigation field, she was wearing a gray trouser with a perpetration on the left thigh. A CT scan was done on Charloe Musu corpse to know whether some of her bones were broken but nothing of such,” Dr. Kolee further testified.
While continuing his testimony that in the middle of deceased Charloe Musu head, some of her hair was uprooted. But one of the Defendant, Ma Rebecca Younder then shouted and said to Dr. Kolee that he rooted the deceased hair.
Sample taken showed mixed DNA and All the sample taken, show an XXX chromosome and men have XY chromosomes and said DNA findings, didn’t find any man chromosome but rather women chromosomes, according to the Liberian Pathologist.
As he took the witness stand, Dr. Kolee was thoroughly cross-examined by the defense lawyers for more than two hours and later discharged.
