Liberians are expected to shortly benefit from health care delivery services by Scott McDaniel, President of an American based Bonafide who is currently in the country for assessment, particularly in Grand Bassa County.

The president of the group has arrived in the county on the invitation of Anthony Barchue CEO of Hope Foundation Liberia to provide health services for citizens in Grand Bassa County as part of his foundation way of giving back to society.
As part of its activities, the foundation is providing uniforms for children in grade school and high school, college education through the Hope Scholars program.
Upon his arrival in Liberia, Mr. McDaniel has visited several health facilities in Grand Bassa County including the county government hospital in Buchanan, local clinics and also is expected to officially meet with Liberia health Minister Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah and other officials of government.
But speaking at a one day engagement with chiefs, elders and Chairman of the National Traditional Council of Liberia other stakeholders of Grand Bassa County on Monday July 18, 2022 in Margibi, Mr. McDaniel stressed the need for change and something new in the healthcare delivery system of Liberia.
According to the President of Bonafide Medical Group, there is a need for drugs, treatment and other materials that will help improve the health system.
Mr. McDaniel named mattresses, hospital beds and some basic things that are needed urgently working with the health ministry especially small clinics where there is resource constrained in making sure that there is a safer place for one and half month old babies and other patients in the country.
‘’My visit is to help the health care system in Liberia to be improved. Liberia needs some basic help including drugs, treatment, mattresses and other equipment to help boost the system. He explained.
‘’So I will be working with some of the medical companies back in the US in coordinating some of the aid to make sure that they are part of the solutions in Liberia. As we move forward, we will continue to pray for the people of Liberia and will continue to help with everything we can’’ Mr. McDaniel concluded.
In remarks, Liberia Health Minister Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah welcomed and thanked the US health practitioner for his visit to Liberia and the support to the health system in the country.
‘’ I am in support of any process concerning the improvement of the health care system in Liberia because I want the people to have good, quality and affordable health in the country’’ Dr. Jallah told the US health practitioner who is currently in the country to help the health system.
According to Dr. Jallah, she is grateful to the Hope Foundation Liberia through which Mr. McDaniel and other partners have agreed to support the health care delivery system in Liberia.
Each year, Hope foundation takes a team of medical professionals to provide medical care at the United Methodist District Center in Weala. These teams can provide help in our clinic for general conditions and also dental care, eye care, provide much needed medicine at the pharmacy, and even perform surgery, both minor and major procedures.
The Foundation in collaboration with its partners has over the past few years provided millions of dollars in medical equipment, medicine, and relief supplies.
In the area of education, the Foundation
is working to provide education to as many children as possible through partnership with the John Wesley School in Weala, along with area colleges and universities.
