The administration of the Yaya Keita Arabic and English Junior and Senior High School has officially presented a 40-feet container of the Holy Koran value over 350,000 United States dollars to the National Muslims Council of Liberia.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony, the proprietor of the school, Yaya Keita said that he Holy Karan will be distributed to Muslims especially to those who cannot afford to purchase one.
According to Mr. Keita, the Conservation of the Holy Koran Society based Amman, in Jordan and the Mohamed Sekou of Perere for the Progress of Humanity in Guinea worked and financed the shipment of the container of Holy Koran to Liberia.
He explained that his institution will work with the National Muslims Council of Liberia purposely to ensure that the Holy Koran reaches Muslims and Islamic institutions throughout Liberia.
Mr. Keita thanked the all the partners in Guinea, Jordan and Saudi Arabia for making the donation of a container of the Holy Korans to Muslims in Liberia
Receiving the container, the Chairman of the National Muslim Council of Liberia, Abdulah Massarey thanked Mr. Keita and his partners for the donation of large number of Holy Koaran for Muslims in Liberia
Sheik Massarey assured Mr. Keita that the Holy Koran will be distributed to benefit Muslims and Islamist institutions in the country.
According to him, this is best gift anyone can give a Muslim at this time as the Holy Month of Ramadan draws nearer.
The presentation ceremony, which was held in the Township of Johnson, was witnessed by the Grand Motif of Liberia, Sheik Abubakar Sumaworo, a legislative aspirant in District Two, Montserrado County, Musa Sheriff, the National Chairman of the All Liberian Coalition Party, Ansu Dorley, the Guinean Ambassador to Liberia, Abubakar Sylla among others
