Liberians are currently awaiting the findings of the autopsies being conducted on three auditors and a research analyst, with the last two being completed in Monrovia on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
As government concludes autopsies on the remains of three auditors and research analyst, which started at the St. Moses Funeral Parlours in the Gardnersville suburb of Monrovia on Monday October 19, the Pathologists are tightlipped as to what they found out or when the results will be released.
The three auditors are Albert Peters, Deputy Commissioner for Audit at the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), George Fahnboto, LRA Auditor at the Large Tax Division and the Director of the internal Audit Agency (IAA), Emmanuel B. Nyenswa.
All four of them died under mysterious circumstances in Monrovia and its environs within just eight days, prompting calls not only for autopsies but for independent investigation, which caused President George Weah to formally invite the United States Embassy to assist in the inquest
