Lawyers of the HOT Pepper newspaper Publisher Philipbert Browne, who broke the missing billions story recently, on Thursday turned him over to the Civil Law Court at the Temple of Justice in the Liberian capital, Monrovia.

Journalist Brown is to face Civil Prosecution after several former and present lawmakers instituted a court action last week with the issuance of a Writ over US$2Million lawsuit against him.

Former House Speaker Emmanuel Nuquay, Togbah Mulbah, Thomas Fallah, Prince Moye, Zoe Emmanuel Pennue, Jeremiah Koung, Edward Karfiah and Bill Tweahway are seeking the prosecution of the Hot Prepper Publisher Brown for branding them bribery takers lawmakers.

The handover of Publisher Browne comes a day after he called in to the local Sky FM breakfast show “Fifty-Fifty” claiming that his contacts at the Monrovia Central prison had earlier told him that a plan was in the making to “murder me”, if arrested and incarcerated at the prison during the holiday season.

The Liberian journalist reportedly accused the lawmakers allegedly of receiving bribery to printing the alleged missing 15-Billion Liberian Dollars.
