Harris as a guest speaker said, leadership knows no boundaries as she highlighted the importance of having women in leadership roles for the success and growth of community.

Ms. Mulbah was speaking during the induction and installation ceremonies of the Upper Caldwell community school outside Monrovia.

“With the election of a female president, they can help address issues related to gender equality and empower other women to do the same,” Ms. Mulbah indicated.

“Women bring unique perspectives, talents, and strengths to the table that are good for guiding the student body towards success. Studies have shown that diverse leadership teams are more innovative, collaborative, and effective in achieving their goals”

The PAYOWI official told the student body that by electing a female as their President, they have not just make history; but have set the precedent for future generations, demonstrating that leadership knows no gender boundaries.

“Today, we gathered together not only to celebrate the individual’s achievements of being the newly elected president of this school but also the collective triumph of progress and inclusivity.”

Ms. Mulbah encouraged students to rally behind their newly president by supporting her vision, and working together to make their high school experience one of unity, empowerment, and excellence.

She also assured the students, especially females that women can and will break gender stereotypes and norms and it starts from school leadership.

For her part, the newly elected students President, Fatumata J. Kaikai of the Upper Caldwell School, promised her colleagues to run the affairs of their Nobel institution, even though she was declared victorious at the just ended election a couple of month ago. “But let me let you know that we are all winners and I encourage your support towards this leadership in running the affairs of this institution.

“The success of this government will depend on your support. My government is a government with our hands lifted high in ensuring that success is sure. Let turn a new page to work collectively for the betterment and growth of this institution, let’s work hands in hands to see the success of this institution,” student Kaikai told her colleagues.

“Ladies and gentlemen, our academic performance is determined due to our lost spirit for education, fellow students the government is playing her part, our parents are playing their part, therefore we must play our part, if we are to acquire equality education.”

The inducted president told her fellow students that Upper Caldwell community school should be practical group for learning.

“Our school needs additional toilets, administrative staffs, school materials to be named, but few to function properly, having said that I am calling on everyone including partners to help in the process.”

Meanwhile, Ms. Mulbah pledged her support to working with the leadership ensuring that the institution becomes better, adding that her speech will not be complete “if I don’t thank all particular opposition for all the hard work. Above all I want to thank the almighty God, God bless us all, God bless upper Caldwell community school”.
