Nearly 3 Dozen COVID-19 Recoveries In Three Days, No New Deaths In Two Weeks

In the past two weeks, Liberia has not recorded any new death from the Coronavirus pandemic, as the total death toll has remained at a standstill since early May 2020.

But the number of new confirmed cases continues to rise, with the most recent Update from the National Public Health Institute (NPHIL) on May 13, 2020 showing two new confirmed cases.

Despite the constant rise in the number of people testing positive for the killer virus is going up.

“#LiBCOVID19 Case Update: 2 new cases confirmed, No new death and 4 new recoveries reported as of 10:00 pm, May 13, 2020.”

 

Meanwhile, Stats show that in the past two weeks, 19 persons have recovered from the virus, with the recent recoveries being two Liberian cabinet Ministers—Justice, Cllr. Frank Musah Dean and Information, Lenn Eugene Nagbe. The Deputy Police Inspector General for Administration, Sadatu Reeves was also among the number of COVID-19 patients at the 14 Military Hospital to be discharged in recent days.
