President Weah makes appointments in Government
Monrovia– President George Manneh Weah has made several appointments in Government affecting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Central Bank of Liberia, Roberts International Airport, National Housing Authority and other commissions and agencies, according to an Executive Mansion statement on Tuesday.
The appointments made on June 18, 2019 are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where applicable.
Among others, Liberia Petroleum Refinery Company (LPRC) Managing Director, Ms. Nyemadi Pearson now goes to the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) as Deputy Governor for Operations, while former Unity Party Montserrdo District #4 Representative, Mr. Henry Fahnbulleh has been named Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Grand Kru County Senator, Mr. Blamo Nelson becomes Liberian Ambassador to Japan.
