One More Mysterious Death In Maryland County, Liberia

PLEEBO, Liberia- Another mysterious death has happened again in the southeastern Maryland County

Resident of Gedetarbo in Pleebo District were shocked recently, when the lifeless body of a man was found in the commercial city of Pleebo recently, following days of search.

Mr. Fedesco Wesley, age 43, left his residence on last Wednesday morning, October 19, 2022 for under-bushing in the bush in the Cavalla rubber area as his daily routine. But as it turned out, he did not return home. Instead, his remains were later discovered.

Family sources disclosed to this Reporter that Mr. Wesley was discovered dead on Sunday morning, after days of intensive search by community and family members in Gedetarbo and other parts of Pleebo district.

Fedesco’s body, which was already decaying was discovered near a cutlass, a single barrel shot gun, with a hunter’s light on his forehead.

After discovering his body on a cassava farm about 15 kilometers within the plantation of the Cavalla Rubber Cooperation away from Gedetarbo where he lives, a 15-membercoronor Jury was set up comprising health workers and the police to examine the body to establish a probable course of his death.

Mr. Wesley was said to be a father of three children, two of whom are currently in school, while the other has not yet reach school age.

Police are currently conducting an investigation into circumstances surrounding his death.

His decaying remains was buried on Monday, October 31, 2021 on the same spot where he was discovered dead.
