KAKATA, Liberia- The Kutoa Afrika Foundation in Partnership with the Bill Rogers Youth Foundation has donated assorted food and non-food items to the Liberian Christian Association of the Blind and the National Union of people with Disabilities.
The Kutoa Afrika Foundation in Partnership with the Bill Rogers Youth Foundation donated 30 bags of 25Kg rice, two Cartoons of sardines, two cartoons of detergents powder, two cartoons of clora. Other items are ten gallons of cooking oil, four packs of Maggie cube and one hundred and fifty pieces of locally produced face masks to the Liberian Christian Association of the Blind and the National Union of people with Disability.
Beneficiaries are in nearby Montserrado County.
According to the operation manager of the Bill Rogers Youth Foundation, Emmanuel Divine Kpoto, Sr., the donation of the assorted food and non-food items is intended to buttress government’s efforts in the fight against the deadly Corona Virus Pandemic in Liberia. And it is in support of the government of Liberia mandate for citizens and foreign residents to wear facemask before getting in the streets.
Mr. Kpoto indicated that the Kutoa Afrika Foundation and the Bill Rogers Youth Foundation believe that in this time of the global crisis, the most affected and concerned individuals are the Physical Challenged. Since the pandemic is a disaster or an unknown enemy to the World and had created restrictions for traveling, the two institutions that are working with communities that are in crisis thought it wise to be able to coordinate their affairs in terms of donating to the most needed, he said.
“I am grateful that we have an outstanding partner like them that are able to believe in the little things we do to impact our communities in a positive way. I would like to take this time to appreciate our amazing partners headed by Dr. Gracie Dinkins, Yasmine M Benjamin, Carlwana Houston, Zoe Tamunang, Juwlor Topor and our distinguished founder and President of the Bill Rogers Youth Foundation, Amb. Bill Rogers for the support, we are grateful for everything,” Mr. Kpoto added.
He informed the different partners that beneficiaries of their donations are overwhelmingly thankful for their good hearts. He used the occasion To thank his “awesome teammates” that work hard to make this happen. He named Don B. Zogar, Christina Maima Deshield, Varney K. Dunor, Vanjahkollie Princess Elexa III, Morris Dweh,Webster Clayeh of Frontpage Africa and David Yates from Daily Observers among others.

Meanwhile, representatives of the two organizations have thanked the Kutoa Afrika Foundation and the Bill Rogers Youth Foundation for thinking about them especially in this time of the Coronavirus.
