Provisional autopsy report has revealed that the Late Charloe Musu’s death is suggested to exsanguination, massive left hemothorax and left lung collapse.

Exsanguination means to use a sharp object to pierce a person in many times in a violent manner.

On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, the Liberian government through the Ministry of justice conducted an autopsy on the remains of Charloe to probe the actual cause of the death.

While the cause of death is being established through the autopsy, the Liberia National Police (LNP) is yet to trace the alleged killer of Charloe–meaning the person(s) who used the sharp object.

LNP Spokesman Moses Carter told the local OK FM radio station early this week that so far, no suspect has been arrested instead the Police has only identified “persons of interest”.

Dr Benedict Kolee further revealed that two of the injuries on the deceased left side cut a blood vessel under her rib.

He revealed that the deceased bled profusely outside and inside, adding that the bleeding inside filled her left side chest and damaged the left lung.

Since the gruesome murder of the former chief justice Cllr Gloria Musa Scott’s daughter, there have been a wave of allegations and speculation surrounding her death, something that prompted the government to request an autopsy.

He maintained that the provisional report of the cause of death of the former chief Justice daughter is just a hint that will reveal the actual cause of death.

Dr Kolee has at the same time averred that the final report from the autopsy conducted will be available in two weeks period.

The autopsy was conducted on March 21, 2023 in the presence of the Family, government of Liberia, the media and other civil society organizations at the St. Moses Funeral Parlor.

It can be recalled, on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at about 11:00 PM,  it was reported that alleged armed robbers evaded the home of Liberia’s former Chief Justice, Cllr. Gloria Musu Scott, which led to the gruesome murder of Charloe Musu with several others sustaining injuries.

The family had earlier called for the intervention of the international community in the ongoing investigation, as they termed the involvement of the international community as the only means of receiving justice.
