“We are here to serve”, “we are here for football and the money allocated for football will be utilized for football,” said Mustafa Raji, President of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) when he formally launched UEFA Assist Van Project.
The ceremony was held at the LFA headquarters at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in central Monrovia on Monday, August 10, 2020.
Speaking to Reporters, Mr. Raji said that the launching ceremony was overdue due to the present health pandemic but emphasized on that the Executive Committee Members and Stakeholders are working with local and international partners or associations in moving Liberia’s football program forward.
“This executive committee members are here for football. We are here to serve,and we are here to serve each and every Liberian tan is impacts by football,”
“The Money for football again will be utilized for football and today evidence is by showing the purchasing of the Minivan for grass root movement,” said Mr. Mustafa Raji.
He put the price of the minivan at US$39,000.00, including insurance of the Minivan.
In another development, the Liberian FA President said that the football house is working vigorously with other association around the world in moving programs by the LFA forward.
He made special mention of the Hungarian Football Federation and the US Soccer Federation, among others.
The LFA boss said the Hugurarian Football Association has agreed to provide medical supplies for the upcoming Orange-Liberia National 2020/2021 league season, which kicks up early October of this year.
