SPORTS: Preparations For The Upcoming National County Sports Meet

The Sports arm of Margibi County the Margibi Sports Association (MSA) gets some support, ahead of the nation’s most talked-about festival, the National County Sports Meet.

The MSA on Saturday, 8 October received an initial amount along with sporting materials from the Offices of Margibi County Senator.James Emmanuel Nuquay.

The gesture was done at the team training session the SKD Complex on Saturday, 8 October.

The donation was made by the Secretary of the office of Margibi County Senator Ackollie Elijah Nanakpallah Jr on behlalf of his boss Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay.

Mr. Nanakpallah said the gesture came in the wake of public outcry from the head of the Margibi Sports Association (MSA) Chairman Abu G. Fofana days ago, as the County joint start it justification ahead of the 2022-2023 NCSM.

The amount of US$1,000.00 was presented with 3 sets of Jersey, and 16 pairs of boots on behalf of his boss Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay Senator of Margibi County.

The MSA Chairman Abu G. Fofana thanked the Senator for such gesture and said that this is not just the first time that Senator Nuquay has done so for the Margibi Sports Association.

Chairman Fofana added that he even expects more assistance from the Margibi County Senator, because evidence over the past years has shown that during his absence from the Legislative Caucus, he contributed tremendously to the MSA.

It can be recalled Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay contributed immensely during the 2018-2019 NCSM when serving as head of the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) when Grand Bassa County hosted Margibi County with the kickball team winning the trophy that year.

Margibi County is paired in Group B with host Bong, Gbarpolu and Grand Cape Mount Counties.
