Veteran Rights Lawyer Cllr. Dempster Brown Heads National Human Rights Comm.

Monrovia, Liberia –  Liberian President George Manneh Weah has reconstituted the Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR), naming veteran human rights Lawyer, Cllr. Dempster Brown as Chairman, the Executive Mansion announced on Monday.

Cllr. Brown has for many years been heading the Center for the Promotion of Human Rights in Monrovia, a group which has taken up a number of human rights cases in the country.

Also, two Liberian Journalists–Sorbor George and Jallah Grayfield have been named as Deputy Directors General of the state owned Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS).

The President on, June 14, 2021, made additional appointments in Government.
