KAKATA, Liberia– An NGO, “We Dream In Color Foundation” through the Bill Rogers Youth Foundation has donated assorted textbooks and book bags to the Konoquelleh Public School in Woryan Town, Margibi County.
The Bill Rogers Youth Foundation (BRYF) is a nonprofit organization and was founded in 2012. Since its existence, it has been partnering, inviting, training, and initiating several sporting events and other projects in many parts of Liberia.
The latest donation was made in an effort to compliment government’s efforts in transforming the lives of the future leaders of Liberia through the provision of essential educational materials and adding value to the country’s educational sector,
BRYF provides youths in all sectors of the Liberian society, from the schools to the local community, with life-changing sports activities and facilities that offer them the opportunity to discover and develop their natural athletic talents to positively impact the world.
The big idea is to develop them to become useful and productive citizens of the world so that they become role-models and mentors to the next generation. The Foundation helps young people discover hidden talents that they may have never known they had. BRYF strives to use these talents to change their own lives and the lives of others.

BRYF and its partners have provided safe drinking water (hand pump) for residents of a community (Woryan Town) located in Margibi County.
The foundation and a partner organization (Kutoa Afrika Foundation) recently donated 160 pieces of chairs to the school and are constructing a hand pump on the campus to be followed by a pit latrine to be used by the students and the school administration.
On June 30, 2022, the Foundation on behalf of “We Dream In Color Foundation distributed about seventy nine book bags among school going kids of the only public school in the area.
The foundation also donated assorted textbooks to the administration of the school for onward distributed among the students.
The former president of the BRYF, Emmanuel Kpoto speaking during the formal program marking the presentation of the materials said the guesture is in fulfilment of a commitment that was made to the institution by the BRYF.
According to him, the Foundation has earlier committed itself to providing books for the school.
Mr. Kpoto revealed that the reason the the books were made available to the institution is that BRYF has realized that readers are leaders adding that when people read they get to know the happening of their country and their daily life and thereafter they can plan for the future.
He noted that the books and back bags were made available by the CEO of “We Dream In Color Foundation,” Dr. Quinton Tamba Taylor de’ alexander as the result of a proposal that was sent to him regarding the construction of a Library.
“So it was about building Library so that communication was sent to Chief Tamba Taylor the man who do and do and Chief Tamba Taylor granted our request and you know based on the level of impact he wants to see and the vision of the Bill Rogers Youth Foundation in full swing, he thought it wise to see how best through his institution the “We Dream In Color Foundation” can be able to help the people of Liberia through our institution,” he explained.
At the same time, it was disclosed that since the We Dream In Color Foundation’s CEO entered Liberia, through his Foundation he has been able to impact the lives of thousand of young people ranging from the Athletic division to education, tourism and the different sectors.
Emmanuel Kpoto lauded Chief Dr. Quinton Tamba Taylor de’ alexander for his support and for transforming the lives of the young people whom according to him has been.
He also thanked the BRYF team members and executives for the continuous support and engagement with other partners in the interest of the people of Liberia.
The process of transforming lives and adding value to the educational sector through the efforts and support from sister partner organizations is ongoing. Another great day outside of Monrovia, speaking, engagement, teaching, and impacting lives through joint efforts with a team from “We Dream In Color Foundation”.
Presenting the books on behalf of the Foundation, the Youth Coordinator of the BRYF in Margibi County, Enoch Obotee admonished the administration of the school the use the items for the purpose intended adding that it will help impact knowledge into the young generation to come.
Receiving the items, the Principal of the school, Belleh Y. Moore thanked the BRYF and its partner for the donation terming it as a dream come through.
Mr. Moore acknowledged that this is the third time the BRYF has made donation to the school thereby calling on the Foundation to continue.
He also disclosed that his administration has been borrowing instructional materials such as textbooks from other schools noting that the donation will curtail such act.
The Konoquelleh Public School Principal has meanwhile, assured the Bill Rogers Youth Foundation and the We Dream In Color Foundation that the donated items will be used to the intended purpose.
Also speaking, the Vice Principal for Administration at the Konoquelleh Public School, Patrick S. Dicky said the foundation has made significant impact in the area as it has donated a lot.
Rev. Dicky mentioned that the Foundation started its activities with agriculture which was a great help to them.
He stated that all the promises that were made to the school by the Foundation have been fulfilled.
“We say thank you to Tamba Taylor ‘talk and do’ we will always remember him we will pray along with him with all the effort that he has abroad,” Rev. Dicky added.
For their part, two of the parents (male & female) extended thanks and appreciation to the donors for always identifying with their children.
Lastly, the supervising principal of Kakata Education District #1, Jenson S. Gonpue speaking on behalf of the Education Officer of the District said the donation is laudable.
Mr. Gonpue then admonished the Foundation to not cease from giving to the school indicating that he believes in the Foundation.
