A young Liberian woman, Jenneh Ka Tamba, age 24, is grateful to God for successfully giving birth to three beautiful babies (Tiplet), but support to cater for three children at once is her greatest worry now in Sinje, Liberia’s western Grand Cape Mount County.

Miss. Tamba, who is already a mother of two, had to go through C-section rather than a normal delivery at the Sinje Health Center on Thursday, August 12, 2021 before the triplet came.

She is therefore appealing for urgent help from the Liberian government, NGOs, humanitarian organizations and well-meaning Liberians to cater for her triplet, who are all females.

Miss Tamba said she has absolutely no one to depend on to help her new born babies and that the frustrating aspect is that her boyfriend only survive on assisting people in burning charcoal.

According to her, they had to borrow money to pay her hospital bill. coal is burned and sold, he can pay back the person money.

In a somber mood, she said the newly born three babies don’t even have clothes, washing and bathing soaps, hot water flask, baby blankets, milk, tub and other baby items.

The young triplet mother explained that her breast milk is not sufficient to feed the three babies and she was in labor pain for two week at a local clinic. But the local clinic couldn’t handle her condition and so she was transferred to the Sinje Health Center.

Miss Tamba narrated that during her time of pregnancy, he was told by many people that she could give birth to twin, but she doubted on grounds she has nothing to feed twin.

Although this new mother of triplet is happy and grateful to God for such gift, because there are many women out there in search of bearing children but they are unable, Jenneh is worried about their upkeep.
