(Last Updated On: )

Barely a week after a gruesome killing in Daniel town, Grand Cape Mount County, where a 43 year old man went missing only to be discovered dead under a rice kitchen with parts extracted, three men have been charged in connection to the murder of one Vamuyah.

One of the accused, Morris Kamara confessed they allegedly killed the victim after reportedly being hired by a businessman to carry out the act in return for USD 15,000.

Kamara commonly known as Bodoezor, along with alleged accomplices, was caught in possession of a plastic bag containing body parts extracted from the deceased during police investigation.

The businessman who is said to have hired the alleged culprits is known as Lahi Ville, while the other two suspects have been identified as Cooper Sheriff and Momo Daba, all including Kamara, between the ages, 20-30.

The businessman, based in the Lofa Bridge community in Gola Konneh District, have also been arrested, investigated, and charged with murder and forwarded to court.

They have all been remanded at the Robertsport Correction Palace awaiting trial.

Murder under Liberian law is a capital offense and first degree felony, punishable by death or life imprisonment.

Report says Vamuyah met his untimely demise last Monday after graduating from the Poro School and was on his way home along with several others but later went missing in the crowd in the bush.

It was following a massive search that Momo Kamara and co-defendants were reportedly found in possession with a plastic bag containing body parts extracted from the deceased. Report by Garmah Never Lomo
