The incident occurred on the 17th of March 2020 in Greenville, Sinoe County.

According to the report gathered, Defendant Momo allegedly hanged her seven year old daughter Esther Amtomidi with a rope in her room, saying the child is the cause of her downfall.

A housemate of the Defendant, Mary Momo identified as Mama Nynnoh was said to have heard the victim continuously crying in her mother’s room. She then began knocking on the door to know what was unfolding.

But when Defendant Momo opened the door, it was observed that the rope mark was observed on the victim’s neck. So immediately, the women and children protection department of the Liberia national police was contacted.
