A Liberian child’s misery ends, after successful surgery in US

The parents of a four-year-old child from a village in Liberia’s northwestern Lofa County are rejoicing over the successful surgery which he now undergone in the United States after an SOS call.

Nearly two years ago, the Liberian media published picture posted from a little village in Lofa called Duogomai on the Social Media network and reported about the pain the child was enduring as a result of a certain birth defect’.

Due to their difficult economic condition, the parents of this child could never have afforded the cost of such a medical treatment abroad.

Until help came from philanthropists later, the child had lived in serious pain.

His sexual organ was exposed as the result of a birth defect – which was now infected and was in need of immediate medical attention.

But now, family members say that the kid is now in the USA and undergoing treatment.

The parents of little boy say they are thankful for the assistance provided to rescue they son and end his misery.
