Afreximbank Liberia Trade Roadshow Kicks Off This Tuesday

In a drive to explore growth and business opportunities in Liberia and beyond, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Oakwood Green will begin a two-day business and commerce event under the canopy of Liberia Trade Roadshow this Tuesday.

The National and regional gathering which will begin on May 16 and ends on May 17 2023 will take place at the EJS Ministerial complex in Congo Town.

Among other things, the event which will focus on funding opportunities for businesses and the benefits of intra-African trade will be held under the theme: Supporting the intra-Africa Trade Drive, Ensuring the last mile.

According to the organizers, the event which will bring together key actors in the sector will center discussions on how small, medium, and large enterprises in Liberia can take advantage of Afreximbank’s products and services to scale and participate in Intra Africa trade.

The roadshow will also present a unique opportunity for businesses and institutions to explore funding opportunities with Afreximbank including learning about the benefits of intra-African trade for businesses.

The organizers used the occasion to call on all businesses in Liberia and the West African region to attend and take advantage of the opportunity to explore growth and business opportunities.

Regional Chief Operations Officer, Anglophone West Africa, Nabil Hamadou, Manager, Trade Finance- Sovereigns, FIs & Corporates, Afreximbank, Monica Oraro, Manager, Business Development, PAPSS, Papa Dieye, MANSA Digital Initiative (West Africa), and the Ministries of Finance, Commerce and Industry respectively.
