The son of a top Liberian businessman and politician, Musa Bilit, Sidikie Bility has been accused by his wife, Warti Robiwon of kidnapping their two boys, ages 5 and 8.

A writ of arrest was issued on November 6, 2020, against Sedekie M. Bility by the Monrovia City Court for the crime of Interference with Child Custody, theft of property and criminal conspiracy.  Writ from the Monrovia City Court

All efforts to get the side of the accused, Sidikie Bility has so far proved futile.

Narrating her Ordeal in a poll of tears at Temple of Justice, madam Bility said about two months ago, her two boys were allegedly kidnapped by her soon to be divorce husband Sidikie Bility in her absence when she went to purchase food items at the supermarket.

Mrs. Bility described the act of Sidikie Bility as inappropriate and currently she doesn’t have access to her children neither to communicate with them and the worrisome one is that they have been surrounded by armed ERU Officers at the residence of Mr. Sidikie Bility.

As a mother, she has right over the children and if their father wants to take them, it should be done legally but to allegedly kidnap them in her absent.

She accused her husband Mr. Sidikie M. Bility being involved with extra marital affairs upon which he filed divorce before the Civil Court and she has agreed to go through the divorce proceedings but need her children.

According to her, during their stay together, she and her children went through many domestic violence of which she reported it to the police but due to his alleged financial influence into the matter, she has been left without action taken against him.

The angry wife also alleged that after taking the kids, she reported the matter to the police, Ministry of Gender, Children and Social protection but his alleged money influence has over shallow everything.

Madam Bility also claimed that although the court issued a writ of arrest on him, her estranged husband has refused to come to the court, because of his alleged financial influence. And she believes that her children are currently undergoing some trauma, especially at a time when they are at verge of divorce.

Finally, she added that she is seeking the custody of her children now and also seeking her benefits after the divorce proceedings.
