Calls For Independent Inquiry Into 200 Years Of American Colonization, Corruption

(Last Updated On: )

And Officially Sanctioned Racism In Liberia

For Immediate URHI Release:

TAPPITA, Liberia-Three Unique Boston-based Ministers of the Gospel have launched The 1st Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Week in Liberia, demanding an Independent Inquiry Into 200 Years Of American Colonization, Corruption, and officially sanctioned racism in Liberia.

Universal Human Rights International (UHRIO just launched the 1st MLK Week in Tappita, Nimba County, northeastern Liberia, honoring retired Massachusetts State Representative, and Honorary Paramount Chief Ben Swan and Rev. Mahn C. Krua for their tireless commitment to serve humanity.

The ministers, all part of the Colorado-based Missions Door were in solidarity when the UHRI called and demand an independent inquiry into American 🇺🇸 corruption and Colonization in Liberia 🇱🇷!

“Without the facts, there’s no healing. Without racial reconciliation and healing our divided country is doomed. Without an independent inquiry, public ignorance perpetuates the myths as well as the ongoing harm of American Colonization and officially sanctioned racism funded by public money,” Rev. Torli Krua said.

The unusually unique group of Boston-based multicultural & multiracial ministers of the gospel includes a white man, Rev. Paul Bothwell who was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central Africa,

Rev. Torli H. Krua was born and raised at a white American missionary-run racially segregated housing and racially segregated school in Tappita, Nimba County, Liberia, West Africa, and Rev. Workneh Tasfaye, born and raised in Ethiopia, East Africa.

Horrified by the shocking facts of American Colonization of Liberia unknown to most Americans, the ministers presented the Representative Ben Swan(Retired) Petition For Healing & Uniting the United States, beginning with an independent inquiry into American Colonization & Corruption in Liberia.

An official from the United States Embassy received the petition, which was accompanied by book coauthored by Faith Sternstein, a native of Tappita, Liberia.

As deadly snowstorms sweep across America, Liberian refugees who entered during the Obama presidency continue to suffer needlessly without permits to work, while at the same time, all Ukrainian refugees less than a year in America are fully protected this winter.

This humanitarian crisis ignored by the Biden Administration has prompted UHRI to launch an emergency humanitarian relief GoFundMe to support Liberian refugee families unfairly excluded from the Liberian Refugee Immigration Fairness Act with funds for heat and food, as the Liberians are not allowed to work or access any humanitarian assistance or food stamps. (https://gofund.me/70f98eef  or https://FreeLiberia.org/donate) 100% of all funds received will go towards food and heat for Liberians families without work permits in the United States.

“The Old America of President George Washington codified racism on March 26, 1790, with a new law; “only white persons” qualified to become US citizens . The Old America of Presidents James Monroe and Andrew Jackson codified racism & American Colonization in order to banish Native Americans to Indian Reservations, and African Americans to the American Colony of Liberia, West Africa. Unfortunately, although the slaveholding presidents are dead, the Old America continues to thrive under Obama, Trump & currently President Biden because no Congress and no American President has ever prioritized mitigating the harm of slavery, officially sanctioned racism and American colonization, still ravaging the lives of Native Americans at the poorest districts on Earth unfit for human habitation; the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota and West Point, Monrovia, Liberia. “

“There has been no confession, no genuine apologies, no independent inquiry, no repentance, no restitution, no racial reconciliation and no reparations. The New America committed to mitigating official racism remains unborn as the January 6th insurrection and other divisions threaten the United States 🇺🇸 of America.” said Rev. Krua.

“As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr is also dead, it will take a new generation of Americans committed to the values of peaceful coexistence, respecting human dignity and sincerity to bring to birth the New America with racial reconciliation, rebirth and a fresh start for a new nation with security, justice and equal opportunities for all Americans, regardless of their race, religion, gender, and political affiliations.” Rev.Krua concluded.

The ministers hope to share their experiences with the Boston City Council and the Massachusetts Legislature upon their return from Africa, where they celebrated the historic anniversary of a son of Africa, Rev. Dr, Martin Luther King Jr, who saved America from a deadly fall! Alas, “United we stand. Divided we fall.”
