TEMPLE OF JUSTIC, Monrovia- In what appears to be a suspicion testimony, the Defense third witness, Alice Johnson has told the Criminal Court “A” that it was an image that stabbed her during the night of the alleged murder Charloe Musu, the daughter of former Chief Justice Gloria Musu Scott even though the place was dark.

But the defense dispensed their fourth witness.

“I saw an image and got stabbed,” the defense third witness Ms. Johnson testified.

During testimony on Tuesday November 21,2023, Defendant Alice said after her stabbing, she started yielding and she hide herself behind the blue Barrow in their room.

Charloe Musu, who was about to graduate from the Starz University College, was allegedly murdered at the home of the former Chief Justice in Monrovia’s Brewerville suburb on February 22, 2023, after which an autopsy was conducted by the Liberian Pathologist Dr. Benedict Kolee. The second autopsy was requested in court by Cllr. Scott’s lawyers recently.

According to the third defense witness, she heard a male voice in that time demanding her for keys stating”give me the fucking keys and she stop hearing them talking and she left from her hiding place behind the barrow and ran straight to Aunty Youdeh room”.

“When I reach to aunty Youdeh room, and entered, I heard her praying and all of us were screaming in the house calling for her and it was that time aunty Gertrude came in aunty Youdeh room and started to push the door and later climbed on the bed where she slided the window and started to scream out for help,” the third witness for the defense continued.

Witness Alice Johnson added that it took long before one of the securities came at the door and aunty Gertrude told him to use the cutlass in his hands to break the window when he broke the window aunty Gertrude, aunty Youdeh and I existed through the window.

During her testimony, the defendant on the stand narrated that after the incident, when she entered in the house, to get phone to communicate, she saw the house packed with community members between Cllr. Scott door and hallway where she saw the security standing but she can’t remember him but he was wearing black uniform and she passed by him and went outside.

Ms. Johnson furthered testified that she was standing outside to one of the community members house where she saw aunty Gertrude, “but when I was standing under the light, my clothes I had on was bloody and I decided to lift up my shirt to see the wound and when I saw it, I showed it to aunty Gertrude and Pastor Alvin K. Gizzie was standing and when he saw the wound while I was showing it to aunty Gertrude, he told me to get in his car along with aunty Gertrude so that he can take me to the hospital that night”.

“When we reached to Faith Clinic, I met my aunty Gloria Scott outside sitting on the bare floor screaming, crying while the nurse took me inside lying on the stretcher and she began to clean the wound but while she was cleaning the wound, past Alvin Gizzie church ordered that I should be transferred to Redemption Hospital for further treatment,” the defense third witness continued.

Ms. Alice Johnson then added: “I was admitted for one day and discharged the next morning following an x-ray result.”

Meanwhile, defense fourth witness in person of Gertrude Newton has been dispensed by the lawyers for reason best known to themselves.
