Fabric Radio honours star presenter Kaipee Newray as he resigns

The Management of Farbric Radio 101.1 on Friday June 1, 2018 honored one of its on-air personalities Kaipee Luther Newray, as he resigns his post as Reporter and Producer of Farbric.

Mr. Newray, who has worked with Farbric for over three years and served as Contributing Reporter for www.newspublictrust.com , formally resigned his post to serve a government parastatal with hid passion in communication.

The farewell and honoring program took place at the weekend in Monrovia and it was attended by staffer of Farbric and friends from the Center for National Documents and Records Agency, among others.

The farewell program,which was organized by Farbric management for the first time ever, took place at a local restaurant owned by the ECO of Farbric radio in center Monrovia.

Prior to his resignation at Farbric 101.1 FM, Kaipee served as announcer, new caster, reporter and both producer and presenter, presenting several programs at the institution including Bits and Pieces and the popular Night Time show to name few.

As a young Journalist, Kaipee had worked with several media institutions including Radio Veritas now Radio Maria, the People’s Newspaper and several local and international online peppers.

Speaking at the occasion, the CEO of Farbric radio Madam Augusta Victoria Freeman thanked journalist Kaipee Luther Newray for serving the institution with commitment, hard work and professionalism.

Madam Freeman said Kaipee will forever be remembering in the history of Farbric for rightly leaving and still honoring his schedule as a young man.

“Most time people leave the institution with problems or other issue without following the right steps but in the case of Kaipee it was difference, the young man officially resigned and still committed to his schedule,” Madam Freeman explained.

‘’Kaipee I was move by your work here at farbric, we done have nothing to offer you, but to say a big thank you for serving, we will miss you, make this place your home,’’ she noted.

Kaipee thanked the management of Farbric radio for giving him the opportunity to serve the Liberian people in the best interest of all.

‘’I am happy to receive such honored as a report most especially being the first person in the history of the institution, show that people were washing my little job I was doing at Farbric,’’ he explained.

‘’I want to use this time to urged all of my colleagues that I am leaving behind, serve with your heart, and do your best God will locate you among thousands and you will be celebrated,’’ the young Liberian broadcast Journalist said.

“I am not just leaving because I want to leave no, but I am leaving to serve the country and going as a communication Officer at the Center for National Documents and Records Agency CNDRA,’’ Kaipee explained

‘’I am leaving but I also remain open to volunteering my services if necessary on the news and the Night Time program,’’ he noted.

Journalist Newray challenged journalists across Liberia to be professional in discharge of their duties for the success of the profession.

According to him, people will began to respect the media or follow individuals with admiration base on professional behavior while performing duties as a journalist.

The outgoing Fabric FM Reporter however thanked all of his friends, reporters and the management for the good working relationship, noting that he enjoyed all of the wonderful time at farbric.

‘’I want reporters or journalists to properly investigate their stories before reporting or for publication in order to avoid future crisis,’’ Mr. Newray concluded.

Speaking on behalf of the news department, the acting News Director Cyrus Harmon thanked the management for the great program in honoring great people who will officially leave the institution.

‘’I urged you my reporters see this as a motivation factor for you do more and fill the space created by Kaipee,’’ Mr. Harmon said.
