FEATURE- GLIMPSE OF REALITY: Worn Out Liberian Flag At The Temple Of Justice

(Last Updated On: )

The flag of Liberia being hoisted on the grounds of the Temple of Justice, seat of Liberia’s third branch of government is in a bad shape and needs changing, as captured by the camera of our Reporter on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

One source says this flag, which is flying currently, goes back to the years of the regime of former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and it is still serving the current regime of President George M. Weah.

In addition to this, all the flags of Liberia’s 15 should be represented at the Temple of Justice, but only nine counties’ flags are seen.

The red, white and blue can’t easily be recognized in the current Liberian flag due to it deplorable state.

This seems not to have claimed the attention of administrative authorities at the Temple of Justice.

Surely, this flag in question is not a good representation of the national enzyme, especially on the grounds of public buildings.
